Cooked pork and spelt sausage
The Farsiccia is a sausage made from pork and spelt (from the Latin far), inspired by a recipe by Marco Gavio Apicio (1st century AD), the most famous gastronomer of ancient Rome. A food with interesting nutritional aspects thanks to the presence of spelt and dried fruit (35% less fat than the common sausage and a fiber intake of 7.71%).
